We will talk about two rules today.
One is the One Scratcher Rule. The other
is the One Game Rule
Let’s start with the One Scratcher
Rule. The rule is to purchase only one
scratcher ticket at a time. The goal
of this rule is that this means that
you should purchase only one scratcher
ticket and then make the decision to
purchase another one only after you
finish playing the game.
Never purchase more than one scratcher
ticket at the same time because it can
ruin your profits if you win and worsen
your losses if you lose.
Pretend that you just won $100 on a $2
ticket that you bought. If you go by the
one ticket rule, then you have a profit
of $98. Let’s say that if you had
bought 10 $2 tickets.
If you had only won the $100,
then your profit would have been $80
instead of $98. The effective and
efficient strategy is to play one ticket
and only one ticket at a time.
There is one more rule that you want to
use and that is the rule known as the
One Game Rule. This game says to play
only from the same game or from the
same scratch off roll.
You do this because continuing to play
one ticket at a time consecutively from
the same scratcher game will give you a
maximum chance of winning versus mixing
up from different games at the same time.
Now the key is to combine both of these
rules when you play. What you will do is
to buy just one scratcher ticket from
one game. If you win, then you want to
take the money and go home. If you do
lose, play the very next consecutive
ticket form the same game roll.

Only about 1% of lottery players do
this. That means 99% of lottery players
will find it harder to win. They will
find that all of the mixing and matching
will cause you to have odds that are not
in your favor.
If you follow these rules, your odds for
winning are around 25%. If you mix up
games each time that you purchase a
scratcher, your odds worsen because one
games of odds has to multiply with another
game of odds, which will cause you to have
very low odds of winning anything. The
odds lower to about 6%.
You can have greater odds of winning by
sticking to the one game rule. Remember
to stick to the one game rule by playing
one scratcher ticket at a time.
