Star Number – this is the main number
that all of the combinations that
could be winners will be based on.
The star number will be based on what
has been hot orcold over a period of
30 days.
Pretend that the hottest number in the
last 30 days was the number 6. The
“frequency theory” says that 6 is your
star number and all the possible
“single combo” combinations would include
6 in the pick 3 or pick 4 numbers.
Single combo numbers – these are
combinations of numbers where each of
the digits is different from the other.
The numbers 9-6-1, 3-4-7, 8-2-5 are all
what would be considered single combo
numbers. Each of the numbers is different
from the other.
The Pick 4 game has single combo numbers
also. 1-4-7-8, 2-1-5-9, 3-7-4-6 are all
examples of single combo numbers
that can be used in the Pick 4 game.
The other types of numbers are the
“double combos”, “triple combos”, and
“quad combos. Let’s take a look at
each of these combinations of numbers.
Double combos – with this number
combination you have two numbers that
are equal to each other. 4-6-6, 3-8-8,
5-5-8 are all examples of double
combos.
Triple combos – these number
combinations have three digits that
are equal to each other. 5-5-5, 8-8-8,
4-4-4 for the Pick 3 game and 5-5-5-0,
3-3-3-4 are examples for the Pick 4
game. There are three numbers that are
equal to each other.
Quad combos – quad combinations are
only available in the Pick 4 game.
Again, you have 4 numbers that are
equal to each other such as, 3-3-3-3
and 8-8-8-8.

Statistically, what are the best
combinations of numbers to pick from?
The quad combos do occur but only about
1% of the time. The chances of these
types of numbers appearing are very
unlikely.
The triple and the double combos again
do not occur very often and the
percentage of them appearing is very low.
For the Pick 3 game, the percentage
of winning combinations is over 60%
for the single combo combination.
For the Pick 4 game, the percentage
of winning combinations is over 50%
for the single combo combination.
As a lottery player, if you are going
to play the Pick 3 game and would like
to improve your chances of winning,
make sure that the combinations of
numbers that you select is a single
combo combination.
